Up the ladder, not the scaffold

Caps and cowls go on mostly from ladders, to save you the cost of scaffolding.

Sweeps, repairs to stoves and chimneys, caps and cowls fitted, bird prevention and much more. Most of it is done from a ladder, so a small job on the stack doesn’t come with a scaffold bill on top.

Bird prevention

Birds in the chimney?

If you suspect birds are in your chimney, we can come out and inspect it.

If the nest is inactive, a cowl or cap can be fitted to keep them out. If the nest is active, the local bird rehab centre needs to be contacted to safely remove the birds first.

We also fit bird spikes, and caps and cowls that keep out rain and debris as well as birds.

Excellent service at a fair price, Paul didn't rush, did both our chimneys and even took the time to investigate the condition of the liner in one of them. Add to all that Paul is a really nice bloke, see you next year if not before for other jobs

Highly recommend Paul for his work yesterday. Swept our very dirty chimney and repaired our wood burning stove for a very reasonable charge. Paul also gave us great advice on our other chimney and wood burner. Lovely friendly guy too!

Paul was a pleasure to deal with. Very good service to our wood burner and incredibly clean and tidy- happily recommend to others.

We have used Paul twice now to fit bird spikes on our chimney and also carry out a gutter repair. He was prompt, friendly and reliable and cleaned up after the work was done. Would have no hesitation in recommending him and will call on him again if needed.

Paul was great, he was easy to communicate with and made every effort to come out asap. He completed the job efficiently and effectively. Would highly recommend Paul!
